Independent Chemical to Showcase Vevy Europe Skin Care at NYSCC Supplier’s Day
Independent Chemical Corporation will be showcasing Vevy Europe’s Skin Sustainability products at the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists Supplier’s Day event at the Jacob Javits Convention Center on May 7-8.
Skin is the human body’s largest organ and the exterior interface with the environment. It is an ecosystem and home to millions of bacteria, fungi, and viruses that compose the skin microbiota. These microorganisms play essential roles in protecting us from aggressions by external infectious and toxic substances. Various factors, including the use of cosmetic and personal care products, can influence the skin microbiome and potentially compromise the skin barrier function.
Vevy Europe (Genoa, Italy) conceptualized the Skin Sustainability philosophy in 2012. This philosophy maintains that each intervention on the skin should respect the physiology and complex biochemistry of the epidermis. This requires knowledge of the skin ecosystem and associated disciplines, with this understanding being critical in achieving desired skin care objectives without causing adverse skin microbiome/host interactions.
Please join Independent Chemical Corporation at Booth 730 at the NYSCC Suppliers’ Day on May 7-8 to discuss the unique ingredients Vevy Europe developed for your formulation tasks with the Skin Sustainability approach.
