Ethylenediamine (EDA) is a colorless liquid with an ammonia-like odor, a basic amine, and a widely used building block in chemical synthesis.
It's used in the manufacture of polyamide resins, which find applications in fibers, plastics, and adhesives. EDA is also used in formulating corrosion inhibitors and in the production of fungicides, textile additives, pharmaceuticals and fuel additives.
