Product Description
Although Ozokerite was originally a mineral wax refined from Ceresin in Eastern Europe, today's Ozokerite is a blend of Microcrystalline and Paraffin waxes blended to meet the melt point, penetration, etc. Due to current INCI rules, products produced in the USA can be labeled Ceresin, while products made in Europe may be described as blends of Cera Micrystallia and Paraffin waxes, but they can be the same. . These are typically 20-40% iso-alkanes with melt points of 62-82C and penetrations of 10-30 dmm.
